We store personal information regarding subscriptions, purchases, webinar attendance and contact details. We also collect information about website usage via cookies. Our registered users can access and edit their personal information via the “My Account“ section of the website when logged in.

When processing orders on the webineyes website we also require credit card information. We use this information to process your order. All details are collected and transferred using secure methods. We do not store your payment details after we have processed your payment.

Some webinars in some countries are eligible for continued education points for some professional roles. In the process of submitting some continued education applications, we or one of our licensees may need to handle and/or supply details to an optical association or governing body. We may also need to provide this information to your employer if they have paid for the webinar or other event. If you do not wish us to do this, you must contact us by email to request this. It will not be possible for us to apply or request any continued education points for you in this situation.

Disclosure of data

Any information provided by our customers will be used for webineyes purposes only. Any personal information will not be shared with individuals or other companies, unless directly connected with webineyes’ activities, required by law, or if customers have agreed to particular information being shared. We have ensured that all our services comply with current data protection legislation.

We regularly use Zoom ( as a service provider for the webinar platform. We disclose information to Zoom for the purpose of registration of webinar attendance and the provision of webinar user links and reminders of webinars to our customers via email. Zoom has committed to complying with the requirements of data protection regulations.

We also retain customer data in the MailChimp ( service for use in the provision of email special offers and information, with the consent of our customers. You may unsubscribe from our marketing database by changing your permission via the link on relevant marketing emails. For any additional activities (market research etc.) we will contact our customers separately.
