Although rare, there are many causes for infectious retinal disease (bacterial, viral, parasitic, and fungal), and prompt recognition of clinical signs, risk factors, and testing are required for successful diagnosis and management. This webinar will discuss how to use case history, clinical assessment and laboratory studies for the successful diagnosis and management of infectious retinitis.

Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to: recognize the common causes of infectious retinitis; identify the clinical signs of infectious retinitis; be able to ask appropriate questions to help differentiate possible causes and order the appropriate laboratory tests in order to aid the diagnosis.
